About
I’ve been drawing animals and inventing imaginary worlds since I was small enough to hold a crayon. In high school I spent most of my time painting and preparing for art school, but when life took me in a different direction, I studied theatre at UC Berkeley and later built a career in writing and voice work.
These days, I’ve returned to the things that make me happiest—painting, drawing, writing, and telling stories. I live on Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, where the forests, sea, and quiet rhythms of life inspire much of my work. My goal is simple: to create books and art that bring joy, spark imagination, and maybe even make you smile.
