ABOUT

I'm Joanna Teljeur, voice artist, illustrator, and writer based in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia.

I've worked professionally as a voice actor since 2003, doing commercial voiceover and audio imaging for brands including UTZ Brands, GOLF Channel, CBS, World Health Organization, Adam & Eve, Novartis, Window World, Ekornes Stressless, Sherwin Williams, HGTV, Cirque du Soleil, NBC Universal, Canon, Ericsson Electric, Volvo, Stena Recycling, Turner Sports, City of Toronto, and Halifax Bridges. I've narrated audiobooks since 2017, with over 100 titles recorded, specializing in character voices, accents, and dialects, particularly for children's and YA fiction.

I also work as an illustrator in ink and watercolour, focusing on animal portraiture and figurative work. Original pieces and prints are available through my Etsy shop, Frog Slot.

I hold a BA in Dramatic Art from UC Berkeley and record from my own broadcast-quality home studio in Cape Breton.
